UK Gear is a brand new to running, but it comes from the apparel side in other sports.

Their initial offering, the PT-03 (the PT stand for Physical Training), was developed with assistance from the British army. It's a solid, motion-stabilizing shoe that measures up well to the other moderate overponation shoes in this review.

The shoe utilizes technology that, while not new, is very well done and effectively cushions and stabilizes the foot. The shoe is durable enough for the highest mileage training. The structure provided by the upper is especially noticeable, with a supportive rand, a few overlays and HF-welded supports in the rearfoot.

The cushioning is reasonably good, with excellent transition from heelstrike to toe-off. Our weartester pronounced the PT-03 to be "very supportive, well cushioned and durable".
