The Shoe That Fits 'Striding Into Summer'

For MJ's shoe guide, marathoner Greg Melville enlisted the help of 49 athletes, most of them fellow members of the Green Mountain Athletic Association outside his hometown of Burlington, Vermont.

'Most runners have a strong brand loyalty.' says Melville.
'Getting a Nike fan to run in New Balance or vice versa wasn't easy.'

'Lesser-known brands such as Etonic, Pearl Izumi, and UK Gear made a very strong impression on our testers'
